Spoken by Jesus to His disciples during the Last Supper, these words come from the Upper Room Discourse, delivered just hours before His arrest and crucifixion. Heavenly Father, thank You for grafting me into the true Vine, Jesus Christ. Forgive me for the times I try to live, serve and solve problems in my own limited strength. Teach me what it truly means to abide in You every single moment. Draw me close through Your Word and prayer, and let Your life flow through me so that my life bears fruit that honours You. I acknowledge today that apart from You, I can do nothing. Amen.
